Project Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Liaison Officer to join our team at Voscur. As a key member of our community engagement team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with community-based organizations, promoting appropriate referrals, and creating new referral pathways.
Key Responsibilities- Connect and meet with individuals who have a criminal record, assessing their suitability for mentoring support.
- Match mentees with trained volunteers and introduce them in the community or in prison.
- Deliver mentoring training to groups of volunteers from churches, assessing their suitability as mentors.
- Participate in group supervision for volunteer mentors and attend annual MentorMe meals and events.
- Establish relationships with prison staff and officers to obtain suitable referrals.
- Offer informed and accessible signposting to relevant support services.
- Keep up-to-date records for everyone working with us on our online database.
- Collect and share qualitative and quantitative data of our work within the team.
- Comply with the latest GDPR data protection legislation.
- Support events run by Voscur and other tasks as required by the CEO or Project Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also need to be highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team.
