Role Overview:
We are seeking passionate, dedicated, and empathetic individuals to assist children with special educational needs within the classroom environment. As an SEND Teaching Assistant (TA), also referred to as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will collaborate with educational institutions to provide tailored support, often working individually with students to enhance their academic, social, and emotional development.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess GCSE qualifications in maths and English (grade C/4 or higher) or an equivalent childcare certification. While a SEND qualification is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Experience and a positive demeanor are highly valued.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently is essential to maximize support for the classroom teacher.
