The Cedar Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as a Bank Team Leader. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager to develop and implement personalized care and support plans, as well as individual risk assessments to meet the unique needs of each service user. As a Team Leader, you will inspire and motivate the delivery of quality care and support every day, while also mentoring and supervising the Support Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager to develop and implement care and support plans
  • Develop and implement individual risk assessments to meet the unique needs of each service user
  • Mentor and supervise the Support Team
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve service goals

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English A*-C or equivalent
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or relevant equivalent
  • Two years' previous experience in a social care setting providing support and care
  • Working knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities
  • Experience of behaviours which challenge and associated risks
  • Effective communication and use of IT skills
