Job Description

**Job Title:** Experienced Teaching Assistant - ASC Resource Base

**Job Type:** Full-time, Permanent

**Location:** Bournemouth

**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join our ASC resource base team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the resource base lead teacher to provide highly effective support for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of the resource base lead teacher to provide individualized support for students with ASC.
  • Assist with planning and resourcing to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs.
  • Model effective teaching techniques to support the development of students with ASC.
  • Provide support and guidance to support staff professional development.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification
  • Very good level of spoken and written English
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN/Autism/Complex Needs/SEMH is desirable
  • Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  • At least one recent child-based reference and relevant DBS/ Police checks.
