Job Title: SEN Change Programme Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Change Programme Coordinator to join our team at Enfield Council. As a key member of our SEN Service, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing the DfE Change Programme, ensuring that our services are aligned with the latest reforms and that we are providing the best possible support to children and young people with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement the DfE Change Programme, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide advice and support to schools and settings on applying for Statutory Needs Assessments and leading Annual Reviews.
  • Ensure all paperwork is submitted to the LA in a timely manner and in line with Statutory Guidance and deadlines.
  • Support parents/carers and young people on the opportunities available within the Local Offer.
  • Work closely with the SEN Service team to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working in a statutory service, preferably in a SEN or education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice, Children and Families Act, and The Equalities Act.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
