About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil-Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Skanska. As a Graduate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of piling and foundations projects, from tendering and estimating to delivery as a Site Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team on-site, taking responsibility for programme and quality management, logistics, and problem-solving.
  • Liaise with clients and various professionals, including principal contractors, consulting engineers, and sub-contractors.
  • Develop knowledge in pile and retaining wall design, as well as Ground Engineering techniques, working with our in-house Technical Design team.
  • Understand how we tender for work and prepare estimates with our Pre-construction team.
  • Work alongside our Quantity Surveyors to develop your commercial acumen.
  • Commit to the requirements of Skanska's environment and health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Studying towards or having recently completed a Civil Engineering or Geotechnical degree.
  • Flexibility with locations, as our projects can be based nationwide.
  • A strong interest in innovation, sustainability, and making a positive impact.
  • Committed to personal development and achieving chartership.
