Geotechnical Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in placing talented professionals in exciting roles within the geotechnical industry.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, company benefits, and opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, with experience in ground investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, and borehole logging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee ground investigations and groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of the team
  • Write and review reports, including factual and interpretive documents
  • Project manage and handle contracts
Requirements
  • Good experience working in the geotechnical industry and understanding of geo-environmental practices
  • Degree in geology, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, or a similar relevant subject (Master's preferable)
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Experience leading a team
  • Commutable to Hertfordshire
  • Full right to work in the UK
