This prominent and expanding company is experiencing significant growth and is investing heavily in its operations. To meet the rising demand, they are seeking multiple skilled HGV Technicians to join their team on a 4 on, 4 off night shift schedule. As an HGV Technician, you will be part of a dedicated group of 8 professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and servicing, including MOT preparation and repairs, to ensure high-quality standards.
- Utilize computer-based diagnostic tools to inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components for accurate issue diagnosis.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and rectify defects as necessary.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles to verify the effectiveness of repairs.
- Demonstrate prior experience in HGV maintenance.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Utilize hand tools and general garage equipment effectively.
- Engage in tail lift maintenance and vehicle bodywork repairs, including fabrication and basic welding tasks.
- Complete administrative duties and reports as required.
- Previous experience as an HGV technician is essential.
