Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Support Professional to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Primary Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to students in Early Years, adhering to the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and execute engaging activities to enhance student learning and development, promoting a love of learning and academic excellence.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Identify and address the additional support needs of students, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed.
Requirements
  • A Level 2/3 qualification in a relevant field is essential.
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school is required.
  • A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities, promoting a growth mindset and a love of learning.
  • Previous experience working as an Education Support Professional, preferably with SEN experience, is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
