Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our Curriculum Services team. The successful candidate will work across three campuses, supporting students with complex needs in a range of learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with highly complex needs, including personal care, feeding, and medication
  • Participate in activities such as swimming and outdoor trips
  • Work with students to develop their independence, confidence, and readiness for work
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Learning Support Practitioner Qualification or equivalent
  • Level 3 qualification in a Learning Disability specific area (e.g., BSL, SpLD, ASD)
  • Level C/5 or above GCSE English and maths
  • Knowledge and experience of working with students with complex needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
