Job Summary:

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their team in London, ON. As a key member of the project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning and organization of construction projects from initial concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Construction Support: Assist in the preparation and coordination of pre-construction activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain project documentation, track progress, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communication Coordination: Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, and the internal project team.
  • Reporting and Scheduling: Prepare and distribute project reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation. Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Financial Management: Help manage project budgets by tracking costs and processing invoices.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements during the pre-construction phase.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project management team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role within the construction industry, with a focus on pre-construction.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
