Finance Assistant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our central accounts team in Croydon. As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and purchase ledger, as well as bank account management and reconciliation tasks across our group companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and process financial transactions, ensuring accurate coding and posting.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Process accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Manage bank payments and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist with month-end finance processes, including accounts reconciliations and journal entries.
- Provide information to auditors as required.
Requirements:
We are looking for a Finance Assistant with at least two years of experience in an accounts team, preferably with experience in Sage 50 or Sage 200. You should be highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a new challenge, please apply.
