Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Estates Planning Manager at Capstone Property Recruitment. This role will involve overseeing the plot management of our client's estate, overseeing the 'client needs' processes and stakeholder relationships, and managing Estate Development Control Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic estate management plans to optimize our client's estate
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Estate Development Control Plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the Technical Board management and report management processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Develop and implement business processes for estate planning functions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide strategic advisory support to our client's leadership team to inform business decisions
  • Support business development initiatives within our Strategy Life Sciences (SLS) team
Essential Skills
  • Strong consultative approach to client engagement and stakeholder management
  • Expertise in analytical and critical thinking, with the ability to apply data-driven analysis for strategic decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality reports and presentations
  • Process improvement and compliance management skills, with experience managing assurance and validation processes
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, with established relationships with technical partners and industry experts
  • Proficiency in Autodesk software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field in the construction industry
  • Extensive experience in construction and/or the public sector, with project management qualifications (Prince 2 / APM PQ)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with political awareness and established relationships with technical partners and industry experts
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience delivering Estate Strategy and managing laboratories or high containment environments
  • Familiarity with Public Sector Estates teams and Chartered status (ARB/RIBA, RICS, CIAT, CIBSE)
