Job Title: Human Resources Adviser

Connect2Luton is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Adviser to join our team. As a key member of our Schools and Traded Services HR Team, you will provide expert advice and support to schools, academies, and other customers on a range of human resources matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional advice and guidance on HR matters, including conditions of service, employment-related issues, and safeguarding.
  • Undertake casework, including investigations, interviews, and presenting findings to hearing panels.
  • Represent the Schools and Traded Services HR Team at meetings, including consultations, interviews, and hearings.
  • Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives on a range of issues.
  • Disseminate advice and information on legislative, policy, and best practice changes to schools and other customers.
Requirements:
  • In-depth experience within a personnel/HR environment.
  • Experience of providing advice and support.
  • Demonstrable interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Able to operate computerised HR systems and understand equalities issues in detail.
  • Professionally qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent qualification.
