Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As a Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profit growth across our motor group.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise the profitable sales of finance and insurance products.
- Assist in the closing of vehicle sales by providing finance products as an aid to selling.
- Secure finance business using approved providers.
- Ensure our F & I policies are followed by all staff.
- Keep sales management and other front-line staff informed about finance and insurance market developments.
- Enhance our reputation at every opportunity when interacting with others.
- Help develop our marketing plan by suggesting finance and insurance product-related ideas.
- Participate in planning and marketing special events and other initiatives.
- Ensure every vehicle is displayed with a finance example, prepared in accordance with Trading Standards Authorities requirements.
- Facilitate the process of quoting customers a monthly payment and vehicle price.
- Maintain an organised approach to administrative and clerical functions.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, completely, and within set timescales.
- Prepare finance quotations and other documentation within required timescales and follow up outstanding paperwork to avoid delays and penalties.
- Report as required by Dealer Principal, General Manager, and other managers, including timely completion of weekly/monthly reports and returns.
About You
- Have up-to-date knowledge and relevant experience in the finance and insurance industry.
- Be able to build good customer relationships and negotiate profitable transactions.
- Have the ability to mentor and develop others while being part of a team.
- Be able to develop contacts within the F & I industry.
- Have an understanding of the legal, tax, and fiscal implications of finance and insurance.
