Job Title: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a prestigious OFSTED 'outstanding' school in Kensington and Chelsea.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be working in a KS2 classroom, supporting a student with mild ASD in a 1:1 role. The main responsibility will be to enhance the pupil's learning either individually or as a group, using strategies to promote academic progress and self-esteem.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils to make good academic progress, under the direction of the teacher and Inclusion leader
  • Implement group or 1:1 interventions to support pupils who have emotional or social barriers to learning
  • Establish constructive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher
Requirements:
  • An honours degree in psychology (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
  • Legal right to work in the UK
