About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our East Midlands Division. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the development and provide clear direction to site staff regarding their responsibilities and targets.
  • Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Motivate and support directly employed site staff, providing training, coaching, and support to improve performance.
  • Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times.
  • Deliver all aspects of production requirements in accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation.
  • Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requested.
  • Maintain adequate site records, including site manager's reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions, and health and safety records.
Requirements
  • Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
  • Effective team management and leadership skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent).
  • Valid SMSTS certificate.
  • Valid First Aid certificate.
