Decontamination Coordinator

Location - Leicester

Hours - 37.5 per week. 5 days out of 7

**Salary**: £21,500

As part of the Warehouse and Cleaning team your role is pivotal to the success of the depot operation ensuring that the following responsibilities are undertaken so that the site can deliver the highest possible service and standards to our clients.

**The Role**
- Unloading Tech vans
- Scrap Management ( reduce the scrap percentage )
- Achieve Stock levels and values, Cleaning KPIs on a daily basis.
- Priority of stock
- Waste management
- Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by Medequip.
- Monthly stock takes
- Follow the company’s guidelines for dealing with scrap equipment disposal and to carefully follow the health and safety guidelines regarding the control of hazardous substances.
- Comply with all Company policies, site rules and statutory regulations relating to Environmental, Quality, and Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness and fire.
- Lead for high value scrap
- Ensure that cleaning stores are kept tidy and equipment stored safely at all times.
- Inform your line manager of low levels of cleaning material stocks where appropriate so that new supplies can be re-ordered.
- Ensure all members of staff are wearing correct PPE when handling contaminated equipment.

**The Person**
- Be comfortable with extensive manual handling
- Work well independently and as part of a team as well as having good communication skills
- Be flexible with working days/hours to suit the needs of the business
