Key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Managing all day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Controlling labour, stock, and costs, as well as maintaining budgets
- Recruiting, training, and developing a skilled team
- Working in a hands-on capacity, leading from the front, including in the kitchen
- Maintaining high standards of compliance and company systems and procedures
- Overseeing and working closely with the kitchen team
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Working to company targets and KPIs
Requirements for the role include:
Requirements- Experience as a restaurant, cafe, or food-led pub/coffee shop manager in a busy commercial customer-facing operation
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with P&L accountability
- Excellent people, communication, and man-management skills
- A hands-on lead-from-the-front approach and a keen eye for detail
- An intrinsic understanding of legislation and compliance
- The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
- Strong leadership, coaching, performance management, and people development skills
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
- IT literacy, with working knowledge of systems and processes
