About the Role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be based in the heart of a bustling retail environment, working closely with the Store Manager to lead and inspire a team of Retail Brand Advisors. Your mission is to unlock the full sales potential of our company by connecting with customers, engaging them in captivating conversations, and fostering strong relationships. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and business objectives
  • Leading and developing a team of Retail Brand Advisors to achieve their full potential
  • Ensuring the store is visually merchandised to the highest standards
  • Assisting with the organization of in-store events and brand activations to drive footfall to the store
  • Ensuring high standards of housekeeping in all areas of the store
  • Providing management and staff cover in the store as required

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work retail hours and shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or assistant manager in a retail environment with team management responsibilities
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
  • Confidence and personability with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Pro-active approach to customer service and a passion for delivering a standout experience
