Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Director to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our Executive Team, you will provide leadership and oversight to our Income Generation, Public Affairs, Partnerships, and Communications functions, supporting our mission to aid women and children affected by violence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our goals, ensuring transparent governance and robust reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead a team of twelve and set and achieve ambitious growth targets for statutory contracts, grants, and unrestricted income.
  • Enhance our reputation through effective public affairs and partnerships, leveraging digital technology to expand public awareness and support fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Health and Safety legislation.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working at a senior level in a similar role.
  • Experience in income generation.
  • Experience of leadership and management at this level.
