Job Description:

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience, driving the profitability, cash efficiency, and commercial opportunity across the business. As a key member of the operational team, you will support the Directors at subsidiary board level, providing strategic financial guidance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Forecasting: Prepare monthly group financial forecasts, including projections for profit & loss, cash flow, and balance sheet for the Group board.
  • Site Appraisals: Prepare and regularly update site appraisals, including scheme changes and initial reviews of changes to a development.
  • Land Acquisition: Prepare land acquisition appraisals and represent finance at project reviews.
  • Joint Venture Partners: Liaise with Joint Venture partners and oversee the preparation of JV board packs and monthly cash flow drawdown.
  • Bank Relationship: Support bank relationship and financing.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience.
  • Track record of delivering business operations and motivating team members to drive volume and deliver excellence.
