Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a strategic and commercial advisor to the board, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Overseeing, managing and delivering leadership across all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Overseeing, managing and delivering leadership for other functional areas including Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the governance, risk management, business continuity, statutory reporting, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • ~10+ years of progressive, professional financial management experience.
  • ~ Preferably with Public Limited Company (PLC) experience and working in a Group environment.
  • ~ High ability to clearly articulate explanations, analysis, recommendations, and decisions, both in narrative reporting and verbally (and to a range of audiences).
  • ~ Detailed knowledge of international and UK accounting standards.
  • ~ Strong influencing and relationship building skills.
