As a Category Planner within the Food for Later division, you will play a pivotal role in executing the company's 'Food First' strategy by influencing and making critical decisions across the category. Your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing promotional strategies across various channels and events, collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Buyers, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the promotional strategy across all platforms, ensuring effective communication of messages to customers and driving sales growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the promotional plan within established timelines, ensuring best practices are followed for optimal delivery.
- Utilize insights and data to guide your decision-making process, leading performance evaluations to enhance promotional planning.
- Communicate effectively to support the execution of promotional activities and seasonal events, ensuring timely requests for in-store assets.
- Act as an internal advocate for the Food for Later category, securing necessary resources to enhance customer engagement both in-store and online.
- A solid grasp of commercial dynamics, retail operations, and customer behavior; experience in buying or promotions is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities to transform data into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills to foster strong relationships and provide constructive feedback to various stakeholders.
- A proactive and driven mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving.
- Excellent project management abilities, adept at planning, prioritizing, and coordinating tasks while identifying risks and opportunities.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for effective data presentation and analysis.
