About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Product Design Engineer to join our team at RED Engineering Design. As an Electrical Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for data centre projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for electrical systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and testing to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements.
  • Work with contractors and suppliers to ensure electrical systems are installed and commissioned correctly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure electrical systems meet their needs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical product design for data centre projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Experience with design software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
