Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at RED Engineering Design. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various building types, including data centers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and specify applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering services.
  • Conduct surveys, tests, and reports on existing electrical installations.
  • Ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing meet functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet industry and legal standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical content and accuracy of training materials for engineers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in data centers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including controls and instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and IT-based calculation software.
