An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a proactive pharmacist to become a vital member of the Medicines Optimization Team within the NHS South East London Integrated Care Board. This full-time role as a Lead Pharmacist for Medicines Optimization involves collaborating with a variety of healthcare professionals and stakeholders to influence healthcare advancements and NHS transformations across our diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities
Utilizing strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, you will be an integral part of the Medicines Optimization Teams serving the Lewisham and Greenwich areas. Your contributions will focus on promoting and executing safe, clinically effective, and high-quality medicines optimization strategies throughout the healthcare system.
This position is designed to be non-patient facing, allowing for a hybrid work model that supports flexibility and work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to engage with local councils and health organizations to enhance the quality of care provided to our populations.
About the Organization
The NHS South East London Integrated Care Board (NHS SEL ICB) is a statutory NHS entity dedicated to uniting partners involved in the planning and delivery of NHS services. Our mission is to address the health needs of the population in south east London while executing the Integrated Care Partnership's strategic vision.
Our collaborative framework includes six local authorities, over 200 general practices, and several NHS trusts, alongside community pharmacists, dentists, and optometrists. The ICB aims to foster connections with the communities we serve and engage with a broad spectrum of community, voluntary, and third sector organizations.
