About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of major transformational projects and programmes within the Leeds Health and Care Academy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving forward our ambitious agenda for health and care in Leeds, working closely with stakeholders across the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of transformational projects and programmes, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions to address local and national health and care challenges.
  • Manage and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners across the health and care sector, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, programme and project documentation, and other key deliverables.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of leading and delivering complex projects and programmes, with a deep understanding of the health and care sector and its challenges. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. A management or business-focused degree, or equivalent experience and training, is essential. Project management accreditation is desirable.

You will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, is essential. You will be a team player, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
