As a Business Solutions Consultant, you will collaborate closely with Account Managers on significant accounts to explore up-sell and cross-selling prospects within the UK market.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify potential opportunities by analyzing the technological deficiencies in clients' operations and promoting the adoption of Zoho's comprehensive suite of products to fulfill their needs. You will act as the internal advocate for customers, engaging with various departments such as Pre-sales, Compliance, and Product Management.
This role requires a commitment to nurturing and developing relationships over time, ultimately leading to successful agreements.
Key Responsibilities
● Utilize a consultative approach to understand the client's business context, existing IT framework, and current business/IT priorities.
● Work in tandem with Account Managers to align product solutions with customer requirements and address any technological gaps in their current systems, crafting solutions that leverage both product capabilities and third-party components.
● Engage with a variety of stakeholders, including business users, developers, architects, IT operations professionals, and senior management, to articulate the value proposition of Zoho's offerings.
● Oversee technical tasks such as requirement analysis, feasibility studies, validation, and product demonstrations.
● Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical workshops, whether conducted on-site or virtually.
● Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by coordinating collaboration across multiple internal teams as necessary.
● Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for clients, liaising with various internal teams including Pre-sales, Compliance, Product Management, Engineering, and Support as needed.
● Deliver product presentations at various events, including conferences, seminars, and webinars.
Qualifications
● A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions or Pre-sales Consultant, or in an IT consulting role focusing on SaaS or software products.
● Strong knowledge of Enterprise SaaS applications, including CRM (preferably), ERPs, Legacy Systems, APIs, and Integrations.
● Proven experience managing RFI/RFP processes.
● Excellent sales and consulting skills, combined with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Capability to work in a Hybrid model and willingness to travel for client engagements.
● Ability to foster internal relationships and collaborate effectively with global teams, as well as cultivate external relationships with clients.
● A mindset that prioritizes understanding the 'Why' behind customer challenges.
