Job Summary
Morgan Law is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team as a Regional HR Business Partner - People Management. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide strategic HR support to our school leadership teams, enabling them to deliver a well-run organization that focuses on improving educational attainment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR services to schools, including employee relations, recruitment, and talent management.
- Line manage in-school HR Officers, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver high-quality HR services.
- Act as a guardian of Trust HR policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with current legislation.
- Participate in recruitment processes as a panel member, ensuring that the best candidates are selected for key roles.
- Support and coach leaders to effectively manage employee relations issues, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Support trade union meetings and negotiations, maintaining positive relationships with union representatives.
- Implement effective HR systems and procedures, ensuring that they are efficient and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with senior stakeholders, including school leaders and Trust executives.
Requirements
- Full CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
- Sound knowledge of current HR legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience of providing complex employee relations and generalist HR advice and guidance to senior leaders, gained in an educational, local government, or other public sector setting.
- Experience of managing a significant caseload of HR cases from start to finish, achieving successful outcomes.
- Experience of implementing effective HR systems and procedures.
- Experience of developing positive and effective working relationships with trade unions.
- Organizational change management experience.
- Experience of supporting TUPE transfers.
- Previous experience of working across multiple sites would be an advantage.
