About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Acute Therapy Team as a Band 7 Physiotherapy Specialist. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the delivery of a robust seven-day therapy service in the acute setting, including clinical areas such as ICU, surgery, elderly care, respiratory care, and general medicine.

Main Duties
  • Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality therapy service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Take a leading role in the delivery of the respiratory on-call physiotherapy service, providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to colleagues.
  • Supervise and train other staff and students within the acute setting, promoting excellence in clinical practice and service development.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects, driving service development and innovation within the acute therapy service.
  • Set and monitor standards of practice, ensuring compliance with policy and procedures, and making recommendations to the team lead/service lead as required.
