Job Title: Specialist Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Pharmacy Aseptic Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day delivery of technical sterile and non-sterile services from the production unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure aseptic duties are carried out according to national standards and in line with recognised guidance governing aseptic practice.
  2. Monitor and maintain appropriate records and documentation to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  3. Supervise the work of the technical services team to ensure daily capacity is monitored according to SOPs, to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  4. Develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to current legislation and guidelines.
  5. Assist in the internal and external audits of the aseptic service, and the subsequent approved action plans.
Requirements:
  • Registered pharmacy technician
  • ACT / PAAP
  • Experience of training others in aseptics
