Position Overview

This is a contract position requiring onsite presence five days a week.

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Associate to become a part of the Internal Audit team within the Global Banking and Markets (FICC) division. The ideal candidate will engage in the planning and scoping of audits, collaborating with stakeholders to gain insights into business and technology workflows, while identifying critical risks and controls for evaluation.

The responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating the risk and implications of findings during audits and generating comprehensive reports for management.
  • Participating in various firmwide initiatives related to new processes, activities, and investigations, while nurturing internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Maintaining regular communication with business units to assess any changes that may affect the audit coverage and planning.
  • Engaging with global colleagues and both internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and external auditors.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of control designs and their operational efficiency in mitigating identified risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit within the financial services sector or related control functions.
  • Previous experience auditing business processes in FICC and Equities sales, trading, operations, and product control.
  • Familiarity with Agile Auditing methodologies and Data Analytics.
  • A strong risk and control perspective.
  • Proficient in report writing.
  • A genuine interest in audit practices, business operations, and the financial services industry.
  • Team-oriented with a robust sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to understand both firm and industry standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in building relationships and collaborating effectively within a global team.
