Position Overview
Are you a certified external auditor contemplating your next professional step? If you are currently in a smaller firm and wish to broaden your team dynamics while enhancing the complexity of your assignments, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

We are collaborating with a mid-sized firm seeking to add a senior audit associate to their well-established audit division. In this role, you will engage with clients across various sectors, including non-profit organizations and technology.

This position offers a diverse experience, involving site visits to clients throughout the UK, followed by a hybrid working arrangement when back in the office. While the primary focus will be on audit tasks, you will also gain exposure to accounting responsibilities.
  • Conducting and auditing statutory financial statements
  • Preparation of both management and statutory financial reports
  • Mentoring and overseeing junior staff, including delegating tasks both on-site and in the office
  • Managing a workload comprising approximately 75% audit and 25% accounting duties


Candidate ProfileIdeal candidates will possess:
  • ACCA/ACA qualification with ideally 1-2 years of post-qualification experience acquired within the UK
  • Proven experience in leading audit engagements and mentoring junior team members on-site
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, along with familiarity with CCH ProAudit software and CCH Accounts Production
  • Experience with audits for non-profit clients is a plus
