About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to lead our bakery team and drive the success of our high-end boutique brand. As a Head Pastry Chef/Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the baking operations, including recipe development, production planning, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to meet the brand's high standards.
- Lead a team of bakers and pastry chefs to produce high-quality baked goods, including viennoiserie, pastries, and cakes.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized baking environment.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
- Train and mentor bakery staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for patisserie and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality baked goods. You should have demonstrable experience working in a similar role, with comprehensive expertise in bakery operations, recipe development, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Expertise in making high-quality baked goods, including viennoiserie, pastries, and cakes.
- Recipe development and innovation skills.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Working Hours and Benefits
5 days a week, operating openings 4am – midday. Salary £40-45k per annum, employee discounts on luxury brand products, training development, and career progression in nationwide expansion.
