About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to join our Leaving Care Service. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who work with care experienced young people to support their transition to adulthood.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Children's Social Care, including experience of working with care experienced young people and a good understanding of the challenges they face. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line manage a team of approximately 8 members of staff, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Produce comprehensive reports for Senior Management, providing insights into the team's performance and challenges.
  • Work with other team managers to facilitate the ongoing planning of suitable accommodation and education, employment and training opportunities for care experienced young people.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support the transition of care experienced young people to adulthood.
