Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Llanmorlais. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex emotional needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centered care, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex emotional needs in their daily lives, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support service users to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and complex emotional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Full manual UK driving license (essential for this role).
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure (required for this role).
