Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking experienced and respectful Support Workers to join our team in Llanmorlais, Swansea.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with two incredible gentlemen, M and P, who require support with daily living tasks and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with physical activities, such as cycling, walking, and trampolining, to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Support M and P with their complex emotional responses, using positive behaviour support techniques and empathy.
  • Communicate effectively with M and P, using clear and respectful language, and adapting to their individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure 24-hour coverage and provide a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting individuals with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and anxiety.
  • Positive approach to risk taking and ability to work with individuals who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Good understanding of positive behaviour support and ability to use this approach to promote positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with individuals who use British Sign Language (BSL).
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to drive M and P's mobility vehicles.
