We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Payback Supervisor to join our team in the Ministry of Justice. As a Community Payback Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising offenders serving community sentences, ensuring they complete their work orders and adhere to the terms of their sentence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise offenders serving community sentences, ensuring they complete their work orders and adhere to the terms of their sentence.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the work of offenders and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure offenders complete their work orders and meet the requirements of their sentence.
  • Work closely with other agencies, such as the police and social services, to ensure offenders receive the support they need to complete their sentence.
  • Provide training and guidance to offenders on work-related skills and behaviors.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of offenders, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with offenders in a community setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with offenders, colleagues, and other agencies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Probation Service and its policies and procedures.
