Government Sector Marketing Lead

Location: London
Length: 12 Months
Rate: £46.15 p/h PAYE (Approx. £95.9K Per annum)
Hours: 9am – 6pm

Job Overview:
  • Lead marketing initiatives for specific projects or products by taking proactive steps to initiate work streams and projects.
  • Conduct user research, market assessments, and gather insights to provide valuable business recommendations to cross-functional teams regarding products and features.
  • Design essential user journeys for both prospective and current customers, collaborating with various stakeholders to create a unified user lifecycle strategy.
  • Identify key opportunities to significantly enhance user growth, boost engagement with new product features, and promote the adoption of existing functionalities.
  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies and plans in close partnership with sales and marketing leadership.
  • Contribute to project planning and manage project priorities, ensuring effective allocation of technical resources.
  • Establish ambitious yet attainable objectives and evaluate success through logical metrics.
  • Develop a structured plan and strategy for project execution.
  • Take charge of managing competing stakeholder interests while keeping relevant parties informed of potential challenges.
  • Proactively identify and suggest new opportunities, expanding beyond traditional areas of expertise.
  • Create new processes, procedures, and features with foresight to preemptively address future challenges.
  • Propose innovative solutions and ideas to advance project objectives.
  • Analyze detailed insights and broader implications while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Influence across teams and areas of expertise to align resources and objectives effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships internally and externally, providing support and guidance to team members.
  • Mentor junior team members, assisting them in their professional development and onboarding.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and external partners throughout the product and feature development lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with partners, agencies, and temporary vendors or contractors.
  • Oversee the integration of multiple project timelines, goals, and objectives.
  • Continuously develop industry knowledge and stay informed about the latest trends.
  • Possess a deep understanding of specific product messaging and goals, adapting communications as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional audiences, influencing project direction through compelling presentations.
  • Enhance current knowledge and expertise by developing new skills applicable to team and ongoing projects.
