Job Overview

We are in search of a Logistics Planner & Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our Eventor F1 team. This role is essential for optimizing our operational resources effectively.

As a Logistics Planner & Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to devise a strategy that allocates the available resources efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements related to working time directives and driver regulations.

Your role will also involve maintaining high standards of customer service by understanding and enhancing the agreed performance indicators for both customers and the business.

This is a full-time, permanent role, typically working five days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility required. We offer a competitive salary and the chance to work with a leading organization in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Transport Manager with compliance administration for daily and weekly operations.
  • Ensure that housekeeping tasks within the GTS system are consistently completed.
  • Complete depot logs within the designated timeframe.
  • Promptly input trailer numbers as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on empty legs during shifts.
  • Track time lapse and restricted parking reports by the specified deadlines.
  • Complete Microlise debriefs within the required timeframe.
  • Report any Microlise errors to the central team.
  • Check resource availability for upcoming shifts.
  • Confirm driver start times for the following day.
  • Report any WTD issues or concerns to the Operations team.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the driving team to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure clear communication between day and night shifts using the handover documentation.
  • Utilize traffic flow management to maximize resource allocation.
  • Manage driver hours in accordance with customer needs and volume demands.
  • Achieve specific targets related to resource utilization, loaded and empty legs.
  • Implement communication strategies from Team Leaders, particularly regarding:

• Traffic flow management
• Trailer type utilization
• Monitoring TLC customers

  • Assist at the drivers' debrief counter as needed.

Customer Performance Maintenance:

  • Review customer allocations in your designated resource pool, ensuring timely planning and appropriate equipment usage.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service teams and drivers to meet customer performance targets.
  • Compile and report weekly benefits and concerns.
Qualifications:

To qualify for the position of Logistics Planner & Operations Coordinator, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of working time directives and EU driver regulations.
  • CPC National Qualification (not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with GTS, Microlise, MyFleet, and Myworkforce systems.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to critically assess and enhance existing processes.
