Midwife Training Programme

We are seeking a Registered Adult Nurse to join our team and embark on a two-year, full-time Master's programme in Midwifery. This programme is provided jointly with Sheffield Hallam University and the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
As a midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and their babies throughout their pregnancy, labour, and postnatal period. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, competent, and confident midwifery care.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of high-quality midwifery care and the appropriate use and development of resources.
- Work through a recognised Midwifery Preparation programme as directed by the NMC.
- Currently Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months experience in practice.
- First degree (2:2 or above) or Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
- Evidence of recent study (within the last 10 years).
- Funded salary up to AfC mid-point Band 5.
- Tuition fees covered by NHS England.
- Travel and accommodation expenses for on-campus teaching.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Adult Nurse to develop their skills and knowledge in midwifery and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to women and their babies.
