Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Manager at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, you will be responsible for timely month-end close across multiple entities in the US and Canada, as well as supporting other geographies. This includes ensuring correct posting and reconciliations of payroll, COS, and prepayment journals across multiple entities.

  • Full reconciliation of GL codes on a monthly basis
  • Initial presentation of draft P&L, margin, accruals, balance sheet for each entity
  • Support and reconciliation of Sales Tax/GST/VAT submissions and payments
  • Other Ad Hoc tasks required to deliver a timely month-end
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Accountancy Qualification
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Proven experience in accounting, including financial accounts
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders
  • Business acumen and ability to understand the impact of business change on financial accounts
