Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Fostering team in Surrey. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with foster carers, children, and families to ensure the best outcomes for those in their care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and support prospective and approved foster carers
- Conduct regular home visits and provide ongoing support to foster families
- Develop and implement care plans for children and young people in foster care
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills
- Experience working with children and young people, alongside a thorough understanding of legislation related to Looked After Children and Care Proceedings
- Confidence in working closely with the public, foster carers, and young people, establishing meaningful, multi-agency relationships
- Flexibility to travel across Surrey and beyond, ensuring we meet the needs of young people countywide
