- Oversee and perform essential preventative maintenance activities.
- Monitor, assess, and report on critical departmental metrics (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure optimal performance of operational support teams, while identifying areas for enhancement through data analysis.
- Partner with various departments to refine and enhance facility operations, contributing to the achievement of key performance objectives.
Required Competencies:
- Strong technical aptitude in facility maintenance.
- Solid understanding of control systems, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment and resolving issues in a dynamic production environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Results-oriented mindset.
- Proactive team player and self-motivated individual.
- Willingness to learn and enhance skills for career advancement.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with vendors to foster process improvements in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Minimum Requirements:
- HNC or City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in a medical device manufacturing or cGMP environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proven track record of teamwork and project delivery.
- Experience in maintaining facility and process equipment is essential.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside of standard hours.
- Ability to work in controlled environments, including cleanrooms.
- Flexibility to work alternating early and late shifts.
