Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead our Rail Programme, driving the development and delivery of complex rail projects and programmes. As a key member of our Projects Group, you will work collaboratively with our rail industry partners to achieve our vision for the Bee Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically lead the Rail Programme, developing and delivering complex rail projects and programmes
  • Lead and motivate a team of project and programme professionals to meet committed milestones and budgets
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with rail industry partners, key stakeholders, and internal departments
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed a positive, supportive team culture
  • Contribute to the development of the Projects Group Leadership Group team, taking an active role in leading the day-to-day running of the function

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Significant senior experience in leading the development and delivery of rail projects and programmesProven experience and capability in leading and growing teams in project delivery or managementStrong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and within constrained timescalesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse senior stakeholdersStrong leadership skills, with a track record in growing and developing individuals within a complex technical environment

TfGM offers a competitive salary of £85,244 - £95,945 per annum, depending on skills and experience. We also offer:
