Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Adaptive Business Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives, providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship to help them achieve their individual and team targets.
  • Take ownership of team performance and results, ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives and targets.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the aerospace and defence sectors, securing new clients through strategic outreach and leveraging industry networks.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to boost brand visibility and build meaningful connections.
  • Take a hands-on role in recruiting and expanding the business development team as the company grows, ensuring that the team has the necessary resources and support to meet objectives.
  • Regularly track and report on individual and team sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, with a proven track record in sales and client acquisition in the aerospace and defence sectors.
  • Experience in managing and coaching a team, with strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage client relationships and track performance.
