Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Catheterization Nurse to join our esteemed team at Regents Park Healthcare. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional care within our advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiograms and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
- Perform both scrub and circulating duties in a theatre-style setting, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions pre and post-procedure, providing compassionate care and support.
- Act as a professional role model, promoting high standards of nursing practice.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the principles of the Data Protection Act.
- Participate in the education and supervision of junior staff and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a minimum of two years' experience in a cardiology environment.
- Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
- Proficiency in recognizing and responding to cardiac emergencies.
- Experience in performing venepuncture and cannulation.
