About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Nurse to join our team at Regent's Park Healthcare. As a key member of our cardiac catheterization laboratory, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and laboratory operations
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (General) or HCPC registered ODP with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in a catheter lab
  • Intermediate Life Support certification
  • Venepuncture and cannulation skills
  • Evidence of recent practice development and a commitment to ongoing education and training
