We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Rehabilitation Care Assistant to join our North Somerset Community Beds Therapy team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about rehabilitation and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our service users.
As a Rehabilitation Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are transitioning from an acute hospital environment to a period of assessment and rehabilitation. Your contributions will ensure that service users receive the highest standard of care and support.
You will collaborate with a friendly and professional team that values continuous clinical development and education. Regular training and supervision will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge.
This position involves working within local care homes, requiring flexibility to adapt to various settings in the North Somerset area.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster independence by implementing rehabilitation strategies.
- Assist in daily rehabilitation activities under the guidance of lead therapists, providing valuable feedback on service users' progress.
- Conduct a variety of delegated clinical and therapy-led tasks to support the caseload.
- Deliver safe, patient-centered, and evidence-based care.
- Work under the supervision of senior therapists, providing both individual and group rehabilitation sessions.
- Engage with an integrated multi-disciplinary team, including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other Allied Healthcare Professionals.
The operational hours for this service are flexible, with discussions available regarding weekend coverage.
